A Little More Salt & Light Please...

Just how widespread sex trafficking is in South Africa became tragically apparent when I hosted several international media networks at Family Policy Institute recently. The City of Cape Town’s Vice Squad on Prostitution invited them to tag along on their regular raids in the peninsula. The reporters were amazed at the brazen nature of the sex industry despite being illegal. During one raid, the Vice Squad busted four illegal brothels & discovered under-age prostitutes.

The TV crew from the US was equally stunned when they accompanied the Vice Squad last week. A brothel was discovered with young Chinese girls. A client, who was arrested at the brothel offered to lead the police to another brothel where Chinese prostitutes operated if they let him go.
